GeoPark celebrates inclusion of Women Leaders in prestigious rankings

Four outstanding women from the leadership team of GeoPark, a leading independent Latin American oil and gas exploration, operation and consolidation company, have been included in prestigious national and international rankings.

GeoPark Board Chair Sylvia Escovar was included this year’s ranking of the most powerful women in Colombia, as compiled by Forbes Colombia. In the fourth edition of the ranking, Forbes highlighted leading women in all aspects of business, politics, and social life in the country.

Marcela Vaca, a member of the GeoPark Board of Directors, was included in Bloomberg Linea’s The 500 Most Influential People of Latin America 2023. It is the third time that Marcela has been included in this ranking, which this year features 58 Colombians including businessmen and women, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, scientists and artists who significantly influence their respective sectors.

GeoPark’s Strategy, Sustainability and Legal Director Mónica Jiménez and Corporate Legal Manager Diana Dallos featured in the GC Powerlist Colombia 2023. Both leaders were included in the ranking of the most outstanding legal professionals in Colombia according to British company The Legal 500, which evaluates lawyers and legal teams that excel in the private sector.
