Media Room > GeoPark to start knowledge transfer workshop series September 30, 2020 Workshops will run during October and November as part of the CEOP (Special Oil Operation Contracts) Technology Transfer Program. Punta Arenas, Chile – GeoPark will hold an online workshop October 7 on process compliance in purchasing and contracting, as the first event in a series of training sessions in October and November for the general public in Chile’s Magallanes Region, oil sector professionals and university students. The discussion will cover important tools used in the industry, supplier management procedures, goods and services purchasing processes, international regulations in purchasing and contracting processes, and reports and standards for business management measurement. The workshop series is part of the Technological Transfer Program of Special Oil Operation Contracts (CEOPs), and aims to give comprehensive insight to the hydrocarbons and energy sectors and technical, environmental, social management and cybersecurity issues in particular. GeoPark professionals and special guests will lead the activities.
